Parents and carers are warmly invited to visit our school before making a decision to send their children to Crudwell Church of England Primary School. Applications for your child to join Crudwell Church of England Primary School are then made directly to Wiltshire or Gloucestershire Council (depending on where you live) and the school will support you in completing the required forms.

Admissions for September 2025
Thank you for considering Crudwell CE Primary School! Choosing the right school for your child and helping them make a great start is so important.
At Crudwell CE Primary school, we have a successful transition programme that will help settle your child into school life. As part of this, we will visit the local pre-schools and nurseries to meet your child. Then, before they start in September, we will have afternoon sessions in school, during the summer term, where all the new intake can come in and meet their new classmates and teachers. This settles nerves and helps new friendships grow.
Over the summer we often share videos and stories with the children too! We have also developed a page all about our reception class here https://www.crudwellprimary.co.uk/new-starters-in-eyfs/ where the children can see photos and videos of the team and setting and families will find information about our EYFS curriculum.
In September, we ease the children into coming in full-time. The children start mornings only for the first week, in the second week we include lunch and from week three the children are then ready to be in school all day.
Our school PAN (Pupil Admission Number) for 2025/26 is 18, which means we have 18 spaces for our reception class in September 2025. We may also have spaces for applications for other year groups. Please contact the school if you wish to enquire.
Final decisions on applications are made by Wiltshire Council and determined by their admission arrangements as set out in the Determined Admission Arrangements for Community and Voluntary Controlled Primary Schools for 2025/26.
If you need any support with your application please give us a call (01666 577357) or email (admin@crudwell.wilts.sch.uk) and we will be happy to help with any queries you may have.
