Friends of Crudwell School
About FOCS
Friends of Crudwell School (FOCS) is a registered charity (registered charity number: 1121210) and exists to support the school and to fundraise for the extras that make our children's learning a better experience. We also organise events that are fun for all and include the wider community.
All parents/carers of pupils at the school are automatically members of FOCS as are all members of staff. Any other person over the age of 18 wishing to offer appropriate support or help to the school may also apply to become a member.
The current trustees are:
Co-Chairs Hannah & Simon Cooper (Year 5, Year 3 and Reception)
Treasurer Ali Warbey (Year 6 and Reception)
Secretary Simon Cooper (Year 5, Year 3 and Reception)
Trustee Ben John (Headteacher)

Crudwell Christmas Cracker 2022
We raised an fantastic amount from our latest Christmas activities which included; Jewellery and Wreath making, Christmas Card designs, Silent Auction and Raffle, the ever popular Bundle Bags and of course the day itself - the physical Fair at the school with Santa's Grotto.
Thank you to everyone involved and we hope you all had lots of fun!
Summer Fete 2022
Another glorious day for our fantastic Summer fundraising event.
Caretaker days 2021 / 2022
An opportunity for us all to come together and make a difference! Cleaning a window, weeding the plant beds, painting the shed and helping with the general maintenance of the school to give our children and staff a positive place to work and play.
Christmas 2021
We always find ways to (safely) come together and have fun during the pandemic, and this Christmas was no exception. After the purely virtual Fair last year, it was great to have a small physical one this time round, not to mention all the other elements too, giving everyone a chance to get involved in a way that suited them.
Summer Fete 2021
We were so proud to be one of the only schools in the local areas to forge ahead with a (carefully constructed) Summer Fete during the Pandemic - and it was absolutely worth all the effort.
Not the Crudwell Bike Ride - June 2020
If there is one thing to take away from 'Not the Crudwell Bike Ride' it is that the children of Crudwell School are AMAZING!!!!!
After 30 days of cycling they managed to cover 5,007 miles completing a virtual European tour including cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Rome, Budapest, Athens and back to Marseille. They cycled in pouring rain, scorching sunshine and 35mph winds, there were crashes and falls but they did not give up; they kept pedalling. Some learning to ride a bike for the first time, some developing from nervous riders to being able to ride 12 miles in a single ride and some riding everyday and covering 500, 600 or even 700 miles in the month.
There was also a fantastic team of adult and secondary riders. The whole school community covered 11,867 miles, further than London to Sydney!
Christmas 2020
Even though we couldn't come together in the usual way for a Christmas Fair - we found plenty of ways to create festive fun for all the family with our VIRTUAL Fair.
Bedtime Stories read by the Teachers for the children to watch at home with our specially prepared take home Hot Chocolate's. AMAZING prizes in our Silent Auction and Raffle, weekly on-line competitions, A Village Treasure Hunt, plus the Marketplace for some lovely present ideas from local shops and business'. I am so proud of the FOCS team and all they achieved given the very difficult circumstances and restrictions, and thank you to everyone that engaged and supported the events - we hope you enjoyed it!
Santa Dash 2019
Malmesbury Carnival 2019 - 'Pirates of the Curry Bean'
May Fair 2019
Crudwell Crackers 2018
A team of parents/carers (named the 'Crudwell Crackers' by the pupils) had entered the Bath Half Marathon to raise money for FOCS. However, this was unfortunately cancelled due to snow. Not to put off, some of them decided to run a half marathon anyway, but around Crudwell instead of Bath!
