Vision and Values

Our school vision is to ensure that everyone has the 'roots to grow and wings to fly'. It is inspired by Psalm 1 and Isaiah 40:30-31:

Psalm 1                 ‘They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry                                         up. They succeed in everything they do.’

Isaiah 40:30-31    ‘Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew                                   their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not                                           be faint.’

Roots and wings. We need them both. The roots of our community that nurture and help us grow. The wings of faith that allow us to soar boldly into the future.

Our school values are Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance, Trust, Teamwork and Creativity. Through these values we strive to develop character and inspire everyone to achieve in a happy, fun and safe environment. This journey is summarised in our school motto: 'Learn, Create, Laugh, Grow'.

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. We support, encourage and nurture everyone to aspire to be the best versions of themselves so that they realise their full potential; both in their learning and in their relationships.
