Common Sense Media Common Sense launches to guide parents in search of media that entertains, educates, and inspires. Over the course of two decades we've been at the forefront when it comes to understanding media's potential to shape cultural values, expand access to learning, and tackle tricky topics for kids and families. Our growing catalog of ratings and reviews continues to evolve to meet this changing landscape, and to cover new dimensions that today's parents and caregivers are seeking. Today our library features more than 40,000 reviews across movies, TV shows, games, books, apps, and podcasts, plus a growing catalog of Spanish-language movies and TV shows, as well as ratings and curations of movies with authentic and diverse characters.

Net Aware Net Aware, produced by O2 and NSPCC, is a guide for parents to 39 of the most popular sites, apps and games that young people use. Using reviews from adults and children, it helps parents decide if a site is right for their child, if it’s age appropriate and explores what risks they might encounter, enabling parents or professionals to help keep their children safe online. The NSPCC have just launched a refreshed Net Aware site. The updated site is packed full of reviews of new and emerging apps such as Musical.ly, Periscope and Kiwi, as well as featuring big names such as Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat. It’s simple and easy to use, making it easier for parents to stay up to date with their child’s online world. It’s also available as an app.

CEOP CEOP is a law enforcement agency and is here to help keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online. We help thousands of children and young people every year who have been in a similar situation to you. CEOP are unable to respond to reports about bullying, fake accounts or account hacking. We are here to help and give you advice, and you can make a report directly to us if you are worried about online sexual abuse or something has happened online which has made you feel unsafe, scared or worried. This might be from someone you know in real life, or someone you have only ever met online. If you make a report to us about sexual abuse or grooming online it will be read by one of our Child Protection Advisors who will get in contact with you on the phone number or email address that you give to us to make sure that you are safe. They will also discuss with you what will happen next. Please try not to worry, you have done nothing wrong and we will do all we can to help you.
